Welcome to the DRT event page 2012! Excited for another year of racing. For 2012 we will be focusing on 2 main events. The Brown county Point to Point XCTT, and the Bloomingcross OVCX race at Karst Farms Park on October 21st. Remember if you pre-register you save money, improve your starting position in the TT (based on order of registration), and get free swag, t-shirt and shorter wait times!

3-20-2012
announcing the Brown County Point to point off-road XCTT will be held May 6th. Race will start at the Hesitation Point Parking lot, and racers will cover all the trails the longest way to the upper North Gate Parking Lot. Racing will start at 1:30P.M. and riders will start in order of registration. Registartion will open on Bike reg March 26th. Onsite registration will be available but riders will be assessed a 10$ on site registration fee. Preregistering saves time, money and scores you an free event T-shirt while supplies last. WE will have prizes from Specialized Bicycle components, Revolution Bike and Bean, and more to come. Cash prizes will be awarded to the Cat 1 and pro racers, per the pay out sheet found on the series details page
9-15-2011-Bloomingcross!!!
It's CX season and we are excited to be presenting the 3rd iteration of OVCX racing in Bloomington, IN. WE will be visiting Karst Farm once again on October 16th. For a full schedule of events visit Bike reg for online registration or OVCX.org for full series details.
New for this year is the addition of Wagner research as title sponsor supporting the Mens and Womens Elite prize List, Upland Brewing, presenting prizes for category winners, and a regulation little 500 Bike category! Should be a blast!
Brown County State Park(BCSP) Off-Road TT This race will be a Point to Point Time Trial being held on Sunday, July 17th 2011. This will count for Double series points to compensate for Versailles rain out. Online registration can be located at: www.Bikereg.com search DRT series #4 online registration will close at 11:00pm on july 16th. Expect a $10.00 day of processing fee for onsite registration. Online registration also ensures you get a free event T-shirt

Location of Start and Registration
You will register and start from the Hesitation Point Trail head Parking lot, the finish and awards will be in the Northgate parking lot
Schedule of events July 17th:
Onsite Registration opens 10:00 a.m.
Onsite registration closes 12:45 p.m.
Racing starts at 1:00, riders will start in groups of 2, with 30 second intervals based on order of registration
Course:
the course will descend HP, turning right onto Aynes loop, then ascending the short side of Aynes loop turn right on greenvalley trail, turn right on short side of the beginner loop, turn left and ascend the long side of the beginner loop, turn right on the north gate connector, turn left on pine loop, finish in North gate parking lot
Food upon finishing
Awards ceremony 4:00p.m.
Awards will be given to overall winners as plaques and swag, age groups will be recognized with Medals. Cat 1 male and females will be paid cash per the DRT payout schedule posted. Results will be submitted to USA cycling.
6-26-8:00am Cancellation Notice
Good morning. Unfortanately the worse thing that could have happened, did. It rained from about 2:00a.m. and is still coming down steady. Forcast is calling for a let up in the Next hour or so, but the trail is completely saturated. It would be inconsistent with our goals to go forward with a race that will have a negative impact on the trails. Have fun with that road ride today! Next event is July 17th at Brown County State park.....if it ever stops raining in Indiana.
6-25-11 8:34pm Trail conditions update and contingency plan
Weather is forcasting 60% CHANCE OF SHOWERS OVERNIGHT. If we are asked to cancel becasue Trail conditions are in question. I will have something posted via Twitter @DRTconsulting, and here By no later than 9:00am In case of a cancel, entry fees will be transefered to Brown County TT, July 17th and series Points will count double. Hopefully we don't have to cancel!

Hello everyone! Sorry for the delay getting the info posted on this race. I have been having some permitting issues, and with being unable to resolve them in a timely fashion, This race will be a XC race only being held on Sunday, June 26th 2011. Trail conditions were solid when I marked the course, there are some slick spots, and one section that is spotted with 2 foot soft sections, but 90% dialed adn the property manager ran the property this morning and suggested we run the race. Trail is pretty clear of debris, they have cleared a bunch, and I picked and kicked a bunch while marking. Looks like great weather for tomorrow, see you then!

Thanks to all that braved the rain, and possibility of a last minute cancel. WE had a great time, and saw some impressive rides from those that participated! Looking forward to a dryer day at North Vernon on May 28th. Pre-register on bikereg and save on that day of penalty fee.
DRT Series #1 at North Vernon is cancelled. THe rain date is Saturday May 28th, 2011. Same schedule will apply. WE have come to this decision with the help of the Property management and local volunteers, as the best decision to protect the trails in a vulnerbale condition. Anyone who is pre-registered will have your entry Transfered to the Rain Date, in the order of registration. Thank you for your cooperation, and we will see you at Brown County Next Saturday May 7th! HOpefully we can finally get this racing season under way!

ONline registration for Muscatatuk DRT#1 May 1st and Brown County State Park DRT #2 May 7th, are set up on Bike Reg. Remeber TT start time are established by order of registration. You will not only save money by online registartion, but you ensure your free race T-shirt! age groups will recieve medals and plaques, as well as merchandise form great sponsors such as Tifosi, Specialized Bicycles, Avenir, Revolution Bike and Bean, Stone Cutters coffee, Winston's Brand skin care, and Qaulity Bicycle Products!
